Dr. Derek Thurman grew up in Papillion and graduated from Papillion LaVista High School. While in high school Derek was a state champion powerlifter and still holds numerous records to this day. After high school he attended William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri where he majored in biology and was a pitcher on the baseball team. He then attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park, Kansas where got his doctor of chiropractic degree. Dr. Thurman enjoys spending his free time with his two dogs Lila and Toby, playing disc golf with his friends, woodworking, and working out. He is activator certified and can treat a wide variety of complaints including but not limited to musculoskeletal pain, headaches, sciatic pain, vertigo, and much more. Dr. Thurman also has experience treating some of the strongest athletes in the world.
